Chika’s pursuit was relentless—as if he already knew what God had revealed to him—but Chinna, ever cautious, took her time. Yet, love has a way of making itself undeniable, and eventually, she saw what had been true all along: this was a love worth holding onto.

For four years, we bridged the distance with flights back and forth to Nigeria, late-night calls that stretched into dawn, and faith that one day, we would no longer be separated by oceans. That day finally came in March 2024, when we could wake up in the same time zone, in the same place, with no countdowns until the next goodbye.

But our love story isn’t just about the two of us. As we fell in love, so did our families—a blessing that meant everything to us. Family is at the heart of who we are, and knowing that our love was embraced by those who raised us made our journey even more beautiful.
